These smaller-sized, lightweight cylinders require no deposite or monthly rental charge. They are easier to handle and use very little space. They also eliminate over-purchasing when only small quantities are necessary. For greater confidence, all stock calibration gas mixtures are analyzed against NIST traceable standards where available.                          Medical and Gas Mixtures For Special Applications

New offerings of laser, blood gas, and lung diffusion medical mixtures give NorLab an added dimension few other suppliers offer. This medical "E" style, 550 liter, 2200 PSIG, non-returnable cylinder, valved with the appropriate CGA fitting completes the package. This cylinder is recommended where larger amounts of non-reactive pure gases or mixtures are required without sacrificing portablity. Reactive Gases

The 58 liter cylinder is manufactured of aluminum and is recommended for mixtures that are not stable in steel cylinders. These include Hydrogen Sulfide, Sulfur Dioxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Nitric Oxide and Ammonia.

Gas mixtures in Nitrogen are certified to an analytical accuracy as follows:

5-24ppm ±10% of the minor components
25-300 ppm ±5% of the minor components
